One Page. Big Impact
Hi, I’m MJ, a website designer and developer specializing in high-performing one-page websites, with multi-page options available to fit small businesses needs. I help service-based businesses establish a strong online presence, attract more customers, and convert visitors into leads. With a certification in Website Design from DeVry University, I combine technical expertise with a focus on clean, simple, deliver efficient, reliable, and professionally crafted websites tailored to businesses like window cleaners, dog groomers, and other local services.
My fee for a standard one-page website is $750. A 50% deposit is due after both the client and I sign the contract and before work begins, with the remaining 50% balance due before the website is launched. Multi-page websites are available at an additional $100 per standard page. Additional features or functionality outside the standard website scope will be discussed and priced separately before work begins.
After launch, I offer ongoing website care and maintenance for $50 per month, which is completely optional. This includes monitoring, routine maintenance, updates, and support to help keep your website secure and running smoothly. See "What Happens After the Website Is Launched?" below for more details.

This includes monitoring site functionality, keeping the website secure, ensuring visitors can access
it properly, reviewing basic website traffic and performance, and making minor updates such as replacing
images or editing text.
A website is an important business tool, but it is only one part of an overall marketing strategy. My role
is to design, develop, and maintain your website so it provides a professional online presence and helps
convert visitors into customers. Ongoing marketing services, such as social media management, advertising
campaigns, and lead generation, are outside the scope of my services. However, I can recommend a qualified
marketing specialist if needed.
Website builders and AI-powered website tools can be great options for getting online quickly, especially
for businesses with simple needs. However, they may come with limitations in customization, performance,
maintainability, and long-term flexibility depending on the platform and how the site is built.
The code inside an AI-generated website needs to be reviewed, customized, tested, and maintained by someone who understands it.
AI can occasionally produce unnecessary code, compatibility issues, or security weaknesses, particularly when handling forms, user input, third-party services, or more complex
functionality. Using AI does not automatically make a website insecure, but relying on unreviewed generated code can
introduce risks.
A custom website built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript gives you greater control over the site's design,
structure, functionality, and performance. Rather than relying entirely on a pre-built template or automatically
generated layout, your website can be tailored specifically to your business, brand, and goals.
With a custom-coded website, I can review the code, test it across devices and browsers, and take steps to help keep
the site secure as best as possible. This includes avoiding unnecessary code and third-party scripts, protecting sensitive information
from being exposed in the frontend, properly configuring forms and security features, using HTTPS, and testing the
website before it goes live. I also use security tools such as Cloudflare and Turnstile where appropriate to help
protect websites from common threats and automated abuse.
The goal isn't simply to avoid website builders or AI—it's to provide you with a website that is purpose-built for
your business, understood by the person maintaining it, and tested before it goes live.
